Although designed with a budget in mind, our AE coax systems offer the AXTON quality you are known for in performance and sound. All 2-band coax systems feature robust Euro-DIN clamps and fit into the original mounting holes of most vehicles, especially thanks to the properly sized strontium ferrite magnets at low/mid-range frequencies. The mid-range drivers feature lightweight, low-resonance injection-molded polypropylene diaphragms that provide high rigidity, high internal damping, and accurate reproduction across the entire frequency range. Added to this is a lightweight foam surround, which results in an even faster impulse response and an even lower mass transfer than usual with other materials. Our coaxials feature a very compact 13mm neodymium tweeter with a mylar dome that guarantees lively, differentiated high frequency reproduction.
